National Construction Safety and Health Convention

To raise the health and safety standards nationwide, every year, JCOSHA hosts a two-day national convention for those engaged in health and safety activities in the construction industry. In the general meeting on the first day, representatives with distinguished achievements in industrial accident prevention activities receive awards and a “Declaration for Safety” is adopted by the meeting; these events are followed by presentations and lectures. In the sectional meetings on the second day, member companies give presentations about their initiatives, or report the latest successful health and safety management activities.
